|GREAT THINGS FOR OUR KAKADU COMMUNITY|
This financial year we have been working behind the scenes with BIEPA and the broader Bribie Island Community. BIEPA, in conjunction with Council and other government-based bodies have a focus on improving tourism to Bribie Island with a shared focus on nature-based tourism concepts.
As a part of this project the Kakadu Beach Bird Sanctuary area has been flagged as a potential area for visitors to experience.
We have recently received news after putting through requests, that council will soon be doing some work on the Kakadu information boards which will include rust treatment and painting.
Also, as a result, the PHRCA have produced a new 3-fold DL information brochure which is now located in the Information Centre for visitors to access. A proof of this brochure is available for download HERE Kakadu brochure proof
